CBRN PURIFICATION UNIT
It is a purification unit against Chemical, Biological, Radiation, Nuclear contamination.
Purpose: To decontaminate patients who are admitted to the hospital as a result of the use of weapons of mass destruction or chemical, biological, nuclear and radiological accidents in the most systematic and rapid way and to provide the necessary medical support.
Fethiye State Hospital CBRN Purification Unit was put into service in 2016 in order to provide necessary interventions to individuals in cases of chemical weapon attack, terrorist attack, radiation fallout, and to prevent contamination to healthcare personnel and other personnel.
There are 2 outpatient serial spray purification systems separated by screens. There are C and D class protective equipment and complementary material equipment and a wastewater collection tank for decontamination processes.
