Our hospital has established a Quality Management Unit in accordance with the Health Quality Standards published by the Health Services General Directorate, Health Quality and Accreditation Department of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey. The Unit continues its work within the framework of the Health Quality Standards.
Duties of the Quality Management Unit
• To ensure coordination of the work carried out within the framework of the SKS,
• To follow up the work towards institutional goals and objectives,
• To manage self-assessments,
• To manage the processes regarding the adverse event notification system,
• To manage the processes regarding risk management,
• To manage the work towards measuring patient and employee satisfaction (such as survey applications, evaluation of survey results, improvement studies regarding survey results, receiving patient and employee feedback),
• To ensure management of documents within the framework of the SKS,
• To manage the processes regarding quality indicators,
• To participate as a member in the committees determined within the framework of the SKS.
The department quality officers of all departments within the scope of the Health Quality Standards have been determined and the activities are carried out in this direction.
