COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER (TRSM)
The Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) within our hospital has started its services. We serve our citizens with our psychiatry specialist, psychologist, social worker, nurse, medical secretary, security and cleaning personnel in our center.
WHAT IS A COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER?
They are health institutions where biological and psychosocial interventions are provided in order to reduce and prevent the hospitalization of individuals with chronic recurring mental illnesses, to reduce disability and to increase their functionality, where family-oriented support and psychoeducation are provided to the relatives of the patients who participate in their care, and where the individual's participation in society is increased. Fethiye State Hospital Community Mental Health Center was established for this purpose and serves as an additional building outside the main campus.
ADMISSION PROCESS OF INDIVIDUALS:
Individuals who have been hospitalized before or are at risk of being hospitalized, who are diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Non-Organic Psychotic Disorder, Atypical Psychosis, Bipolar Disorder, who need psychosocial support or whose functionality has decreased due to mental illness are accepted by the CMSM for treatment and psychosocial rehabilitation purposes.
